Track Replacement
Customer Issue: Mrs. Washington had noticed here garage door slowing lately on her frequent trips to take her kids to sports practices and appointments.
Our Solution: After we looked over Mrs. Washington’s garage door system, we discovered the problem resided with a broken garage door track. Our technicians let the tension of the springs go to remove them, and the cable, in order to take the door down. Once it had been moved out of the way, we replaced the damaged track with a new one.
Spring Replacement
Customer Issue: Mr. Sparks felt his garage door was having trouble opening and closing properly lately and wanted us to check it.
Our Solution: Our team looked over the system and found that one of the customer’s torsion springs had broken due to wear and tear. After disconnecting the opener and releasing the tension, the broken spring was carefully removed and replaced with a new one. Once the door was restored to working order, it was then tested to be certain it was functioning.
Sensor Alignment
Customer Issue: Mr. Williams’s door refused to close, but could be shut manually without issues once the opener was unplugged; an almost sure sign of sensor problems.
Our Solution: The team went in, unplugged the opener and locked the door, and then loosened the photosensors, cleaned the lenses, and adjusted them until the alignment lights came on. Reconnecting the opener revealed that the problem was, in fact, solved.
New Garage Door Installation
Customer Issue: New garage door – consultation and purchase.
Our Solution: We presented a number of options, and after some deliberation, the customer decided on a classic Clopay door. While installing the door, we also replaced the existing rollers with a new set, lubricated the moving parts and adjusted the spring tension.
Opener Repair
Customer Issue: Wiring problem.
Our Solution: As always, we started by inspecting the whole system. Then, we fixed the loose connection in the Chamberlain Whisper Drive model 248754 which was causing the problem. Finally, we tested the safety features, adjusted spring tension and made sure everything was working perfectly.
Panel Replacement
Customer Issue: Damaged garage door panel.
Our Solution: This customer was fortunate enough to have damaged only one panel backing up, so the replacement was straightforward and fast. Since the impact slightly bent the tracks, we repaired them as well. We also made sure the door was well-balanced and running without glitches before leaving.
